What Facebook groups can I research?
Any group you are a member of, public or private. You must be logged into Facebook in the same Chrome browser. The extension reads only what you can already see.
Is this safe to use?
The extension reads publicly visible member data from Facebook groups you are already a member of. It does not bypass any login, access private messages, or read data you would not normally see. The tool is designed for researching your own community memberships responsibly.
Do I need to stay on the Facebook tab while it runs?
No. Once member discovery starts, you can switch to other tabs. The extension continues running in the background. When you reopen the extension popup, your discovered contacts are still there.
Why does member discovery seem slow?
Safe mode, 9 seconds between scrolls, is the default to minimize any risk of Facebook rate limiting. You can switch to Normal at 5 seconds or Fast at 2.5 seconds in Settings. Faster speeds carry a small risk of temporary account restrictions, so use with caution.
What does the Biography field contain?
The biography comes directly from the member's Facebook profile: their work history, job title, company name, or personal bio. The extension filters out low-value text like "Joined 3 hours ago" or "3 mutual friends" so only real profile content makes it into the export.
How accurate is AI scoring?
Accuracy depends heavily on how well members fill out their Facebook profiles. For members with clear work bios, such as "Owner at KDS Collision," scoring is very accurate. For members with empty or vague bios, the AI honestly reports low confidence rather than guessing.
Can I research multiple groups?
Yes. Research one group, export, clear the data, then navigate to the next group and run discovery again. Each session is independent. Pro users can track cumulative stats in the Profile tab.
What export formats are available?
CSV, XLSX for Excel, and JSON. Each export includes 25+ columns: name, user ID, profile URL, biography, company name, job title, rule score, rule category, AI prospect score, AI prospect category, decision maker likelihood, business type, AI reason, best outreach angle, confidence, is verified, and researched at timestamp.
What is Post Engager Discovery?
It is a Pro feature. Instead of researching all group members, you discover only people who commented on or reacted to a specific post. Switch to Post Engagers mode before clicking Start. These contacts are warmer because they actively engaged with content relevant to your product.
Is my member research data stored on Skelna servers?
No. All member research data stays in your browser. It is never sent to Skelna, stored in our database, or shared with third parties. When you export, the file downloads directly to your computer. When you clear the data, it is gone.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Log in to your billing portal via the Settings tab in the extension, or email hello@skelna.com. You can cancel anytime. Your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time.
